New Dairy Feeder Rule: All dairy feeders calves exhibiting, showing and selling at the 2011 Athens County Junior Fair must be purebred calves from one of the 5 recognized American Dairy Association breeds: Ayrshire, Brown Swiss, Guernsey, Holstein (Red or Black) and Jersey. Crossbred calves must be from the 5 recognized breeds listed above. Exhibitors must request a document from the seller stating that the calf is a purebred of the breed purchased, signed and dated. This paperwork must accompany the calf at tag-in on May 11, 2011. Calves without the proper documentation will not be allowed to tag in.
