Notice: Open Class Premium Money Distribution To Change--Effective with the 2009 Athens County Fair, distribution of your open class premium money is changing. Open Class premiums will now be paid in cash, no more checks. Payments will be made beginning at 12 noon Thursday of the fair through 8:00 pm Saturday August 14. Any open class premium money not claimed by close of the fair on August 14, 2010 will be forfeited. The board will no longer mail checks to exhibitors who fail to pick up their premium money. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
